Israel’s War Against Palestine: Documenting the Military Occupation of Palestinian and Arab Lands

Current status of the IOA

The IOA project started in February 2009, following Israel’s attack on Gaza. Since then, IOA coverage of the Israeli occupation has expanded to include Israeli-Palestinian history going back to the pre-1948 years. The Archive contains nearly 3,000 news stories, coverage of ‘facts on the ground,’ analysis and commentary.

As of August 2013, the IOA continues to upload content consisting of work that is relevant to the Occupation mostly by members of its Advisory Board – Bashir Abu-Manneh, Anat Biletzki, Noam Chomsky, Irene Gendzier, Assaf Kfoury, Rashid Khalidi, Stephen R. Shalom, and Salim Tamari – and by Moshé Machover. The Archive content is available to readers and researchers HERE. Separately, new content is regularly posted on the IOA social network pages: mostly Facebook and also Twitter. We hope you will follow our activities there.

The following websites offer regular, frequently updated coverage of the Occupation that is well worth exploring:

Additional websites relevant to the Israeli occupation can be found under Links, on the right column of most IOA pages (but not this one).
