A selection of Emily Henochowicz’s art
Emily Henochowicz is a very talented young American artist and peace activist. On May 31, 2010, Emily was shot in the face with a tear gas canister during a demonstration in Qalandiya, in the occupied West Bank near Jerusalem. As a result of her injuries, Emily lost an eye and had to undergo several surgeries. Based on reports, there is every reason to believe that the Israeli Occupation soldier who shot Emily aimed to hit her. She’s recovering in the US and it is evident from her blog that she’s very strong and has an amazingly optimistic outlook.
