The IOA project started in February 2009, following Israel’s attack on Gaza. Since then, IOA coverage of the Israeli occupation has expanded to include Israeli-Palestinian history going back to the pre-1948 years. The Archive contains nearly 3,000 news stories, coverage of ‘facts on the ground,’ analysis and commentary.
As of August 2013, the IOA has limited the addition of new content to work that is relevant to the Occupation mostly by members of its Advisory Board – Bashir Abu-Manneh, Anat Biletzki, Noam Chomsky, Irene Gendzier, Assaf Kfoury, Rashid Khalidi, Stephen R. Shalom, and Salim Tamari – and by Moshé Machover.
The Archive content is now available HERE.
